Michael Macklin is an animator and motion graphic designer. For nearly two decades, Michael’s love of all things STEM and his passion for creating has allowed him to transform complex scientific concepts and academic papers into visual productions that are more readily understood by the public and investors alike.

Since graduating from Ex’pression College for Digital Arts at the top of his class, his clients have included DOE Joint Genome Institute, DOE Joint BioEnergy Institute, Lawrence Berkeley National Labs, University of California Berkeley, California Department of Public Health, NASA, and more.

His work with smaller studios has made him intimately proficient with every stage of digital production, from storyboard to final render, including on-set production and sound design. His decade-long membership with the Visual Effects Society has him well connected with industry giants on the forefront of visual effects technology, and his door is always open to the next innovation.
